Some new experiments with my new fisheye and Helvetica.
New Project Name: Waves
Aim: Document people, places and experiences through surfing.
Waves: a long body of water curling into an arched form and breaking on the shore.
Surfing: ride on the crest of a wave, typically toward the shore while riding on a surfboard
Surfing is cultural, local & global, creative, new & old. It has an aesthetic.
Old Project Name: Lost Community
Ireland is losing it's sense of community.
How are the local responding to the global?
Capitalism has affected the roots of community by making the individual the center of everything and suggesting that once individual wants and needs are met there is no need for other people.
What is the role of the Graphic Designer in the community?
"Can the Graphic Designer be a community activist."
We need to get back to interacting with each other.
The Vision of community has been juxtaposed against the Rat Race.
Perhaps this will stick. Lost memories of the community.

Memory Dictionary Definition:

Here is a collection of items I found at home and scanned. These memories include: Old guitar pecks, type, my Uncles test results, lego and doll spares which I found in a charity shop.
Old type blocks both wood and metal which I came by a few years ago.
